Community College of Aurora and Current Walk-ins

We had our health fair at the Community College of Aurora yesterday. We held this event in order to connect with one of our target populations, the "Young Invincible." This event was a big stepping stone, and we are thrilled to have been able to connect with a number of students.

We wanted to thank Orlando, from Kaiser Permanente, for providing us with the food and the Community College of Aurora for being a gracious host. We also want to give a huge shout out to our ACAN health coverage guides. You all work so tirelessly to reach out to our community to provide support and assistance. Some of the ACAN organizations represented at the event were the Metro Community Providers Network, Asian Pacific Development Center, Colorado African Organization, National Association for the Advancement of Colored People, and Aurora Mental Health Center. Also present was Gabriela, from Connect for Health, Ivan, from Aurora Community Connection, and the wonderful folks from Servicios de la Raza . Thanks to all who made this event a success!

As the deadline for health insurance enrollment approaches, we wanted to remind you about our walk-in services. The walk-in times/days are provided for you below. These walk-ins are held now until February 15th.

MONDAYS & WEDNESDAYS 10 AM- 2 PM- Aurora Mental Health Center- 791 Chambers Road, Aurora, CO

All walk-ins are on a first come, first serve basis. Don't worry, if we can't get to you on one of those days, we will work with you to set an appointment.

Please make sure you have health coverage for 2015!
