What is Connect for Health Colorado and ConnectAurora?

You may be unfamiliar with Connect for Health Colorado or the Colorado health insurance marketplace. This post will help clarify any questions regarding our organization and provide useful information about the upcoming enrollment period.

Connect for Health Colorado is a non-profit health insurance marketplace that opened up in October 2013. It is set up to help individuals, families, and small businesses shop for and apply to health insurance plans, while providing the means to apply for financial assistance to lower healthcare costs. In fact, it is currently the only place where Coloradans can apply for premium tax credits and cost sharing reductions, designed to lower healthcare costs. The organization also provides customers with the necessary support in order to help choose plans, or apply online.

You can find out more information about Connect for Health on their website

ConnectAurora is a certified assistance site that can provide you with help on the application for health coverage enrollment. The enrollment period start November 15th and ends on February 15th.

ConnectAurora is the online presence of the Aurora Coverage Assistance Network (ACAN). We are a group of organizations that work together to provide enrollment assistance for the Aurora community. The organizations under ACAN include the Aurora NAACP, Metro Community Providers Network (MCPN), Asian Pacific Development Center (APDC), Colorado African Organization (CAO), and the Aurora Mental Health Center.

ACAN has walk-in appointments, as well as scheduled times. Feel free to give us a call for assistance on your application. Our number is 303-617-2328.
